In January, William Tyler MBE shared his enthusiasm of history of personal hygiene with us. He had us rolling in the aisles with his stories of privies at the end of the garden and bathing before running water. It brought back memories of how our grandparents lived and made us realise how lucky we are today.
On Saturday 26 November a coach of members and friends went to Bury St Edmunds Xmas Markets. We arrived early and spent a very enjoyable day, there were lots of stalls and plenty of entertainment.
